Hello Surf Montreal! Went for a surf yesterday afternoon and it was pretty good. The wave was a little white (easy to catch) but not very dynamic. Regardless I was sharing the wave with only 2 kayakers and had one of my best sessions of all summer. I took out the Greenlight Surf Supply board that I made out for it’s official maiden voyage on the river and it was incredible. I really can’t believe that for my first short board that I shaped from scratch it turned out so well. It’s fast, responsive, floaty and fun! If you want to go surf make sure you have your rubber! The water was cold and the air was cold, I was really glad I had my hood, booties and gloves.
